Stream Reggae brings the authentic, high-energy sounds of the Caribbean to the New England music scene. Founded in 1997 by singer-songwriter Nyah, a veteran musician from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, the band was born out of a lifelong passion for roots reggae, dancehall, soca, and zouk. Heavily inspired by icons like Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer, and Peter Tosh, Nyah formed Stream shortly after relocating to Maine, quickly establishing the group as a regional powerhouse.

For nearly three decades, Stream Reggae has delivered infectious, danceable rhythms across festivals, colleges, and premier nightclubs. Their impressive resume includes opening for legendary reggae artists such as Third World, Burning Spear, and Sugar Minott, as well as performing at Portland’s prestigious Merrill Auditorium for the historic “Night of Relief” benefit.

With four original studio albums under their belt and a catalog of fan-favorite tracks like “I Like It” and “Move Along,” Stream Reggae continues to tour, write, and captivate audiences with their timeless, feel-good energy and undeniable stage presence.
