Teresa will lead you through an organic approach to Modern Jazz technique emphasizing body alignment, deeper awareness, and greater ease of movement with a focus on developing a stronger sense of rhythm and musicality. Her class begins with the Simonson 10-minute signature warm-up designed to methodically prepare the body for dance. This foundation is carried throughout the class’s exercises and combinations. Dancers of all styles can learn how to work within their natural range of motion, preventing predisposition to injury while achieving increased stability and flexibility.
