Pilates

This class is designed for students with a varying level of familiarity with Pilates. We will begin slowly with movement drawn from the work of the anatomist and functional movement educator, Irene Dowd, and progress into the Pilates repertory, exploring core stability, range of motion and bi-lateral symmetry in the body. The intention of the class is to prepare the dancer for a full day of moving.
