Making Work

Faye Driscoll

With an expansive view of what “dance” is and can be Choreographer, Director and Artist Faye Driscoll shares practices, processes and philosophies for creating choreographies. We will work with generating from choreographic scores, prompts and live directing. We will explore rituals, situations, sensations and states of being. Sourcing from our bodies, mediated images, and the world immediately around us we will work to hone in on the rhythm of our own attention.

What are the mini social dances and scripts we perform as we navigate the world on a daily basis? How is image, thought and imagination a choreography constantly altering our bodies? How is the alchemy we generate in the process of creating the work embedded in the work itself?
