Intro to Interactivity with Andrew Schneider
July 19 – 25

Discover first how to demystify interactivity through looking at its component parts, move through the process of decoupling the concept of “technology” from being a specialization, and learn how to incorporate interactive ideas into practice. Isadora and Arduino will be taught from the ground up.

Countertechnique with Joy Davis
July 26 – August 1

A rigorous physical practice, the Countertechnique class thoroughly prepares the body for rehearsal and performance, enabling dancers to move bigger, more fluidly and more spatially, while becoming stronger and more flexible.

Sissy Vop with Darrell Jones
August 2 – 8

A collection of (e)feminized training rituals aimed at releasing enculturated oppressions in the body. Going to the edge of our physical limits is important for this release, and we will enter through a combination of rigor, rhythm and recuperative practices. Be prepared to sweat and kick!
