Choose your ticket price
If you are able, please consider a full price $25 ticket. If that’s not an option for you, please purchase a $5 ticket. We know that these are challenging times, and art is meant to be accessible to all audiences.
Accessibility
Bates Dance Festival is committed to providing disability accommodations for all of our events and performances. We believe that the arts are enhanced and enriched when all community members have the ability to participate. Please contact bdfboxoffice@bates.edu to request specific accommodations.
Late Seating
Late Seating is at the discretion of the House Manager. Check your tickets for curtain times. Due to the nature of some of our programming, we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals.
Show Cancellations
Bates Dance Festival reserves the right to cancel a performance in the event of inclement weather or other performance emergency. All ticket holders will be notified by email at least 3 hours prior to their performance time if their event has been cancelled. We will also update our website and Box Office phone message. In the event of a cancellation, Bates Dance Festival will allow 100% refunds to ticket holders.. Cancellation email notices to ticket holders will include information on refunds and other options.
2022 Season Refund and Exchange Policy
Bates Dance Festival has instituted a flexible refund and exchange policy for the 2022 Season. If you are feeling unwell, or if you have been exposed to someone who has recently tested positive for COVID, please stay home and do not come to the performance. We would be happy to provide a full refund or exchange for your tickets. Call our Box Office (207-786-6161) or email us (bdfboxoffice@bates.edu) prior to the start of performance and we will assist you.
COVID-19 Guidelines
BDF cares about the health and safety of our community members and will adhere to guidelines put in place by the CDC and the State of Maine. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the health and safety of all guests, staff, and artists in attendance.
Vaccination/testing policy for audience members
- All audience members attending indoor performances presented by the Bates Dance Festival are required to either be vaccinated, or show proof of a negative covid test result taken within 24 hours of their arrival to the venue. This requirement also applies to BDF performances presented at the Gendron Franco Center.
Proof of vaccination or negative covid test results is not required for outdoor events.This includes shows in The BDF Tent.
Masking policy for audience members
Audience members are required to wear masks for all indoor performances (Schaeffer Theatre, Alumni Gymnasium, Gendron Franco Center and Gannett Theater)
Masking for outdoor performances is not required.
