About Raja

Raja Feather Kelly is a choreographer, director, and founder of the feath3r theory. He has choreographed the Tony Award–winning A Strange Loop and Pulitzer Prize–winning Fairview. Recent projects include Lincoln in the Bardo at the Metropolitan Opera and Complications in Sue at Opera Philadelphia. His play The Fires premiered at SoHo Rep as a New York Times Critics’ Pick. Kelly is a 2025 Doris Duke Artist Award recipient, former Princeton Arts Fellow, and Live Artery Guest Curator at New York Live Arts. In 2027, his company will premiere DOOMERS and a collaboration with Bill T. Jones.
