The Now
In this rigorous practice we will be getting up close and personal with the floor. Your limits to gravity will be tested, and instinctively our reflexes will kick into high gear as we throttle as one. First things first, we leave the nonsense at the door. In with the new and out with the old. My main goal for our time together is to get you out of your head and into your body and once we begin we’re not going to stop. I invite you to unlock the amphibious creature that exists primally inside each of us as we explore the depths of our physicality through being and breath. Class will start with a thorough warm up meant to target your cardiovascular health and stamina. Focusing on mind to body connection, the roots of the initial movement practice deriving from yogic teachings. We will then continue with floor work methodology both in the center and across the floor. Ultimately, we finish off with heroic and dynamic phrase work to powerful, invigorating music. Why? Because why not?!
