About Teresa

Teresa Perez Ceccon is a New York City dance artist, educator, and choreographer who has taught at Gibney Dance, Peridance, Steps on Broadway, and The Joffrey. She teaches Simonson Jazz in NYC and online, and leads Simonson Method of Teacher Training (SMTT) programs and workshops nationally and internationally. A Queens College graduate, she earned her MFA from Montclair State University, focusing on Latin Jazz Dance. She has choreographed and performed extensively, taught in university dance departments, and continues to create new works. She also produces Take the Stage, offering students the opportunity to perform for live audiences.
