Modern III Rep
Students will participate in the creation of an original work building off phrase work from Jones’ Modern Technique class, improvisation, modern dance partnering and choreographic prompts. The work will focus heavily on musicality and rhythmical accuracy and depend on the styles and personalities of the dancers in the ensemble. The work encourages organic and dynamic movers who enjoy taking risks, quirkiness, and physicality. A lover of theatre, Courtney encourages dancers to tell stories with their bodies and to take advantage of and enjoy every moving moment. This will be fun but challenging, let’s dance. Must be enrolled in Jones’ Modern III course.
