About Netta

Based in New York City since 2000, Netta Yerushalmy has been awarded fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants-For-Artists, Jerome Robbins Bogliasco Foundation, New York Foundation for the Arts, Extended Life (LMCC), as well as residencies from Baryshnikov Arts Center, Watermill Center, and many others. She is currently a Research Fellow at the New York Performing Arts Library, and holds a Virginia B. Toulmin Fellowship for Woman Leaders in Dance at the Center for Ballet and the Arts at NYU.

Her work has been presented by American Dance Festival, Joyce Theater, New York Live Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, 62 Center for the Arts, ODC/Bridge Project, La Mama, Wexner Center for the Arts, Danspace Project, Choreography Unlocked @Ailey, as well as internationally in Israel, Germany, and France. I addition to creating new works for repertory companies nationally, Netta has worked with students at the Juilliard School, Rutgers University, Alvin Ailey, Tisch School of the Arts, University of Austin, University of Utah, James Madison University, Kelim Choreographic Center (Israel), University of the Arts (Philadelphia). Netta has danced with Doug Varone and Dancers, Nancy Bannon, Mark Jarecki, Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Joanna Kotze. She currently performs with Pam Tanowitz Dance.
